Logos and Context

Excellent Design Observer article articulates something I've been trying to convey to a couple clients recently. Logos need time and context to show their true value. Many of the world's most powerful logos wouldn't impress you at all, devoid of their history.

Old School Canadian Punk

I grew up with the singer from this band. Tim sadly passed away a few years back. I'll never forget hearing New York Dolls for the first time, down in his basement.
